VACCINE FOR DOGS
Researchers at the University of Arizona have made progress toward the development of a vaccine to prevent Valley Fever in dogs. The vaccine has undergone extensive testing for protection and safety in mice and a “second generation” mutant strain is being constructed to meet the requirements of the USDA and FDA regulatory agencies. Meanwhile, the company Anivive is ramping to manufacture, test and license the vaccine for dogs. Follow the vaccine’s progress. Check back every 6 months for news and updates.
